DJ Tonestar

As an eighteen year old, DJ Tonestar was a party animal and had hit the club seen in Melbourne. He had grown up around music and musicians, and just knew he had to get into the industry.

He stumbled across his first entry into the music industry where he hit the decks for the first time at the age 22, in The Hub in Melbourne. DJ Tonestar caught his first residency at The Footscray Hotel. In this gig, he also became their entertainment co-ordinator including booking RnB, Soul, Reggae, private functions and much more.

Soon his talents saw him picking up other venues such as The Chuder in Werribee, The Windsor Hotel, private gigs such as weddings, engagements and birthdays, and even “After Parties” of The Logies in Melbourne.

He was in demand to the point of sourcing a team of 6 DJ’s underneath him. His experience along with a degree in hospitality, has seen him work overseas, including USA and New Zealand which included gigs for celebrities such as Will Smith and the “After Parties” of The Emmies.

A recent move to Queensland saw him join the team at Recharge DJ’s. You’ll catch him regularly at venues in the Darling Downs region.
